Full Disclosure Notice: The fact that I’m ranting about Beyond Science has nothing to do with the fact that they are the FIRST EVER advertisers on A Day In Paradise (yes, my whoring is paying off!!!)
I first heard of the Beyond Science podcast from the equally interesting Spaceship Radio Show, which is also hosted by Andy Doan. I’ve been a big fan from the very beginning.
Each show features a guest who has something to say which reaches just beyond what we see as “scientific”. Topics have included Ghost Hunters, Hollow Earth Theory, Life on Mars and Space Elevators, etc. Controversial topics are also touched on, these include smoking, and a skeptics view on all thngs non-scientific.
While I don’t agree with the viewpoints of many of the guests, I enjoy the show and think that as science progresses more and more of these topics will be embraced by the scientific community. What we’re talking about here, is the cutting edge of science (or lunacy).
On the Beyond Science Blog more topics are discussed in depth with frequent posts from the Beyond Science staff as well as comments from the visitors.
