Long Day

Long day today, Stella had to get up and leave on business at 5am which started everything a bit earlier then usual.

I need to come up with a name for the “Mia wakes up then after half an hour of bouncing goes back to sleep only to wake up Annie who in tern wakes Mia again” syndrome. Whatever it is, having it happen 2 or 3 times before 7am certainly qualifies for “getting up on the wrong side of the bed”.

Anyhow, was fine with them until about 10:30 when I caved in and put on Cbeebies. Mia is such a sucker for Clifford and Big Bear, you’d think that a real life Dad can do something that would keep them more interested, but no matter what I did, nothing would stop her whining (she was tried but I didn’t want her to go to sleep too early). Anyway, Cbeebies to the rescue again :)
Went to the park in the afternoon, parked myself and Mia in the grass with some friends who have dogs and we enjoyed the nice autumn weather, while Annie pulled (life threatening) stunts on the monkey bars. By the time we got home Mom had gotten back to rescue us.

An Honest Austrian

Ananova - Woman finds and hands in 250,000 euros

An Austrian woman who found almost quarter of a million euros in her new flat has handed the find into her local lost property office.

The money had been left behind when the Salzburg flat was emptied after its 90-year-old occupant died.

Salzburg Lost Property boss Franz Schefbaumer said: “It shows someone of extraordinary good character, it’s the largest find we have ever had handed in the history of our agency.”

The woman’s estate had been left to a charity which will now benefit from the find.

Web Links Organizer

WebSight Directory System - Categorize Your Links

I’m looking for a decent web link managing script. Found this one on SouceForge but it just doesn’t do the subject justice. Missing the most basic features (like saying how many links are in each category).

Oh well, next stop is here we’ll see what that does. It’s not as pretty, but may just work better, you never know.

At least not too much time was spent on the above…
