One Liners

Reflective Reality: More one liners than you can wag a dog at…

Ever wonder:
Why do people say, “You can’t have your cake and eat it too”? Why would someone get cake if they can’t eat it?

Did Noah have woodpeckers on the ark? If he did, where did he keep them?

Do pyromaniacs wear blazers?

Why do most people put more effort into their wedding than their actual marriage?

Lot more questions (without answers), for a slow monday morning

Star Wars Lego Project

the star wars alphabet project

Very cool stuff. I used to dream about doing something like this when I was a kid. My profession of choice used to be to work in Legoland. Didn’t matter what I was doing, as long as I was continually surrounded by tons and tons of lego.

From Global Nomad to Netizen

Interaction’s TCK Care Network - Writings

we (global nomads) aren’t really rootless. We’re just rooted differently - horizontally, not vertically. Our root system is defined more by people, less by places”. Indeed, my root system was based on relationships, not geography. This is also true for the Internet, where we can interact with people from around the planet in Cyberspace.

Interesting article that relates the life of a Third Culture Kid and the Internet. Being a TCK myself it is easy to relate to the feelings that he went through.

The “Where are you from” question is a difficult one for me too. Born in Finland, raised in South America an the Indian Sub-continent, moved back to Europe when was 10, spending 2 years of my life in Finland (when I was 14-15) then spending time in Russia and Ukraine before travelling Europe. I’ve visited very country in Europe exept Norway, Holland, Luxembourg, and Bulgaria, so answering the question “Where are you from?” can be a bit of a challenge at times.
