Here’s a good guide for people (like me) who want to get their DivX’s onto VCD.

This blog is becoming my online memory… I know in a few weeks/months, I’ll be asking myself where that handy link was.

Of course, this uses TMPGEnc which is non free. Would like to find an alternative.
