That’s Minister Wormus to YOU!

You are a Minister. You know the Bible in and
out…back and forth. I applaude you! I
furnished some very hard questions there!
Congradulations!

How Bible-versed are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

It would be nice to know which ones I didn’t get right… if any ;)

Finally watched Matrix Revolutions

Matrix Revolutions, The (2003)

But too tired to blog about it… first job is to scour the other reviews to see what they all say. Some interesting stuff out there, ideas about what all is going on…

Emma’s Journey

Emma’s Journey

A Heartwarming blog about a little girl who had to have a heart transplant at 4 months old.

The poem at the end is a real heartbreaker… knowing that for your kid to get a suitable heart someone elses has to.

Just putting myself into these peoples shoes makes me so thankful for the charmed life that I live.

In other news Kika’s blog has been updated.

Day 4 — TIRED!!!

This has been a week of Mondays… it’s 10 to 5 and I’m ready to go to bed!

Mia did more wiggling tonight, Stella was back in the room so Mia slept in her own bed. She wasn’t really awake, just VERY restless, which of course kept us up as well. Thankfully I got a bit of sleep between 6 and 7:40, so I was relativly rested, but that soon wore off.

Of course it doesn’t help going to bed at 12 either. NOTE TO SELF: Go to sleep EARLY tonight!

Easy Currency Converter in Mozilla or Firebird

XE.com – Universal Currency Converter Results

The reason that I was interested in xe.com was because I needed a shortcut to currency conversion. I wanted to use Mozilla’s Named Bookmarks feature.

Following are the steps I used:

    – Made a bookmark to the link above in one of my bookmark folders.
    – Went to Manage bookmarks and Viewed the properties of my new bookmark.
    – In the “Location” field changed “Amount=100″ to “Amount=%s”
    – In the “Keyword” field inserted “p2e”.

And it’s done!

Now when I want to find out how many Euros 135 Pounds makes, I go Ctrl-L (if I’m not already in th e location bar), then “p2e 135″ and Enter.

Mia Weaning Day 3

Much more restless tonight… squirmed around the whole night, never cried or had to get carried around, but sure did a lot of wiggling. Woke up at 6:30, but was dead tired and fell asleep again around 9.

She’s eating like a horse, which is a good thing!

I think we’ll let Mom back in the room tonight.

Copyright Warning in the source of XE.com

XE.com – The World’s Favorite Currency Site

I wanted to use Mozilla’s “named bookmark” feature to use xe.com’s great currency exchange feature, and make a quick way to exchange GBP to EUR and back, since I do that a million times a day.

I need to get some information about the form to be able to do it so I view the source to find the following “scary” message:

This guy puts it quite well. A good dose of Brittish humor there.

The List With No Specific Purpose

OK, so the latest development on WTS is TLWNSP. This will be an email mailing list that doesn’t have a predefined purpose. ITLWNSP will be administered by me (of course) and will be jam packed with all sort of goodies. What type of goodies? I haven’t the faintest idea, but they’ll be yummy (I think).

Goodies will include (I’m writing this off the top of my head):
   - Cool free software reviewed by me
   - Great sites that I think you should visit
   - The occasional “Letter to the Editor”.
   - And if you’re all good children, maybe the occasional contest, and prizes! WooHoo!

How does one get involved???

Day 2 — Daddy 1, Mia 0

Round one is over! Mia was the bestest little girl EVER, woke up twice during the night, whined for a few minutes, but then took a sip of some water and went back to sleep.

Finally she woke up and, I was sure it was around 3, but when I looked at the clock it was 6. Anyway, she cried for about an hour there, she wasn’t really awake, so I wanted to try and get her to go back to sleep, she did nod off for a bit while I was walking around with her, but as soon as I tried to get back in bed she would wake up again and continue with the whining.

She’s fine now, ate a hearty breakfast, and is indulging in the Teletubbies as we speak!

11:08 — So far so good

Everything is quiet… Mia woke up once but went down fairly easily. Let’s hope it continues like that.

Good night!

Weaning Mia — Day 1

OK, we’ve decided to wean Mia.

Annie was VERY easy, Stella and I just switched sides of the bed and when she would wake up I’d just give her a sip of water and she would go back to sleep. We’re expecting feirce resistance from our beloved

For the last few weeks she has been incredibly demanding on Stella, wanting to nurse 7 or 8 times during the night, as opposed to the 2-3 times a few months ago. If she doesn’t get what she wants she’ll just start screaming, knowing that poor Mom and Dad are in no position to refuse her. But things are about to change.

In the spirit of a good blogger, I will let you know what happens… hopefully it won’t be too eventful, but Stella and Annie are moving into the Living room starting tonight, leaving me and Mia upstairs to hash it out at 3 am! Whoopie!

Psychedelic Redundency Check

Well, my sister was over… it was nice having her, except that she came during the week so we didn’t get to do that much.

She said the funnyest thing. I copied some CDs for her, and then she tested them on her machine and said “they passed the Psychedelic Redundency Check”, I’ve never heard of that test… (she meant Cyclic Redundency Check).

Anyway, I’ve got some new ideas, which I’ll be blogging about sooner or later… World domination here I come!!!
