Blogging on at EasyInternet
So I’ve got a couple minutes to kill at Victoria station, so I decide to check out the EasyInternet Cafe.
Pretty nice setup, drop a coin in the machine, get a ticket, log into any terminal type in your ticket number as well as a password, and start using your credit.
Of course the first terminal I sat down at was not working at all, it looks like at least half of the terminals are down, and the one that I’m currently at, has a rotten mouse. You’d think that for something that was as used as this they’d use optical mice…
Anyway, it’s convenient… right above me there is what used to be a cctv camera, but obviously it’s been disconnected. I see one looking at some other computers, but can’t see any watching me. All the ones behind me are disconnected.
Well, I’m not going to do anything else as surfing with this mouse is a joke. So I might as well continue here for a bit.
Oh, I’ll check my mail. Cya folks ![]()

Yeh, and the only one I know!!!
There was this older Japanese guy who was at the terminal in front of me, he was playing some kind of 3Dish game… don’t know what it was, but it had to be web based, since there was no other way to load stuff onto the comp.
There was also a USB port, which I assumed was so that you could plug in your personal storage device, and save stuff. They were running win98 and IE. I’m sure it would be pretty simple to break out of their shell. Anyway, I wasn’t about to try
