That’s what I’m Tolkien about!
So, the Lord of the Rings trilogy ends! I enjoyed Return of the Kings best of all the movies. Great job.
The only obvious bad ‘cut’ I saw was when Sam was going to rescue Frodo after he’d been taken to the tower by the orcs. We see a little scuffle in the tower where the Uruk-Hai knocks the orc out of the tower and then a fight breaks out between the orcs outside. Next thing we know everyone is dead. And what happened to the Uruk-Hai in the tower? I totally expected that he would be still there, but the other guy was.
Seems to me that ol’ Sauron got a bit slack towards the end… he should have figured that they were trying to distroy the ring and left a couple baddies there to gaurd the entrance to mount doom.
Anyway, all in all it was VERY enjoyable!
