OK, don’t panic, this design is REALLY cool!!! And it should be coming to WTS’s front page REALLY SOON NOW!
The design to end all designs… first, I wanted to run it by you, my faithful readers. Let me know what you think. This time around I’ll rework the archive pages and individual pages.
I jumped through major loops to get the bar on the side to be able to be put on individual archive pages (and get updated every time new posts are added), you’ll have to guess how that’s done! No, I don’t regenerate the whole site every time someone posts a comment 
So flame away folks, all user feedback goes to /dev/null anyway, so you might as well make the most of it!!!

Not bad, I’m impressed … but please lose the green and assorted color pinstripes! It hurts my eyes.

Anything is better then the current design, that seems to go without saying. I don’t know what Klass means about background. When I went to your site there was no background, plain jane is about all I can say at the moment but I have never been one for flashy blog sites.
It’s a good start mate, we’ll see how she comes.
Looking at it in Safari here so if my comments don’t match how you see your site, there’s your explanation.
