According to this post on boingboing, this is the blog of Duraid Isa Mohammed, who died last week after his car came under attack in Iraq.
The blog starts about a week before his death.

I am a U.S soldier who worked with Duraid. He was like a brother to me. I spoke of him in a speech this Memorial Day, honoring those who lost their life in combat. He is missed dearly!
