Yahoo! 360° - Home
Thanks to my inside contacts at Yahoo! I discovered the new Yahoo blog tool (yes, I know it was also slashdotted, thankfully I no longer read that silly site).
So it looks like the Y! vs. G dick measuring contest is running full steam! I guess MSN is trying to get in there […]

From Google Whore to Self Important Moron
Wednesday, March 16th, 2005
That’s what this new design and the idea that I have a “Featured Story” has done to me. I feel weird about posting the crud that my readers have grown used to over the last 2 years of blogging. Now I think that I need to write something useful or something that people would want […]

WorldGuitar.com-Tuner
I’m always looking for something like this… although this one seems to be a bit high. Where was that other one…
This isn’t what I was looking for, but it’s worth a go… windows based tuner that uses your mike. Not too shabby
OK, well, that sorta sucked, but concerned Mike sent me an IM […]

Phirst it was Phishing, now it’s Pharming, what will the internet Phraudsters think up next.
This attack is scary, but not that scary because of the phact that to make it work properly you’ll have to be inphected with a trojan/virus before it can work… however […]

U.S. Quits Foreign Inmate Accord Over Death Penalty
Note from deathpenaltyinfo: Some analysts say President Bush’s decision will weaken both protections for U.S. citizens abroad and the idea of reciprocal obligation that the protocol embodied. The United States was the first to invoke the Optional Protocol before the World Court to successfully sue Iran for the […]

What’s the Story? — By Aaron Wormus
If you’re reading this you’re sure to have noticed. I upgraded to Wordpress 1.5 and jazzed up the theme as well. I am still doing a bit of tweaking so you might see things move around or change colors.
You probably noticed my Ad and Buy-Me-NOW Zones… the Ad […]

Council Presidency Adopts Software Patent Agreement Against Council’s Rules
Quick story: Europe started the procedure to legalize Software patents. Denmark and Poland stonewalled it. Luxembourg (who holds the presidancy) violated the coucil rules and pushed it through.
Comment from FFII Board Member:
It is absolutely unfathomable what happened today. I cannot see how the promoters of the European […]

TC:Elite - An Enemy Territory Modification
This looks like a pretty cool Wolfenstein Enemy Territory mod. Nice and Free. I’ll need to try it out sometime, getting a little tired with regular ET gameplay.

SQLite DBs within Document Root
Sunday, March 6th, 2005
This is not going to be another rant about SQLite security, but a couple of things have put me back on the war path.
I was going over the most recent PHP Magazine when I noticed a snippet of code in which a SQLite database was being opened like:
$db = sqlite_open(”{$_SERVER[’DOCUMENT_ROOT’]}/db.sqlite”);
The author probably denied direct access […]

Unsanctioned Advertisements
Thursday, March 3rd, 2005
I got the terrorist polo ad sent to me a couple weeks ago. Tasteless, but funny and very pretty well done. The Ad is archived on this page where you’ll also find interesting discussion on what VW is doing to find and sue the creators of this ad.
I only thought of this, because of the […]
