Military ‘hacker’ freed on bail

I hate posting stories that have already hit slashdot, but this one was too good to pass up.

Thirty-nine year old guy hacks the pentagon “looking for UFOs”, causes $1 million worth of damage, gets arrested in 2002 and then gets released on bail. If this guy gets extradited to the US he could face 70 years worth of Federal PMITA jail time. Good time to disappear.

This story is the one that slashdot linked to and it has everything wrong… typical.
