or alternatively, use Xvid (hosted on sf) – which is open source and comes without any spywares
DivX does not contain spyware. The free version of the DivX Play option contains an optional Google Toolbar install. I am, personally, a big fan of the new DivX Converter application to convert all my home videos to divx.
I have to say, that I could not agree with you in 100% regarding DivX Video: Download DivX Software FREE!, but it’s just my opinion, which could be wrong
