A false Wikipedia ‘biography’
USATODAY.com - A false Wikipedia ‘biography’
This kind of stuff is just funny these days… actually, it’s the people who actually think that wikipedia is a viable source of reference that is funny…
Talk about 1000 monkeys… I for one, perfer to get my news and information from more reputable sources. Like Slashdot!
Of course the funny thing about this is that the story saying that the wikipedia article is false became part of the wikipedia article. Ouch, my brain hurts!

I’ve just read John Seigenthaler’s editorial, and I find it rather interesting that the very freedoms that bloggers say they’re fighting for are actually protecting the identity of the alledged false-biographer. So, is it a fair assumption to say that bloggers’ privacies and anonymities are already protected (at least in the US)?

Considering how quickly they were able to track the guy down, when they set their mind to it, I’d say that any privacy and anonymity (at least in the US) is at best only an illusion.

I would say that common sense is an illusion
to post something like that from a company computer is just stupid.
