A Day in Paradise

I see Second Life as simply a 3d IRC. I for one would LOVE to see a non-3D interface, where you could just chat and teleport around.

I have IRC running all day and am in 15 channels… I would love to idle in second life, but it’s so resource intensive it’s impossible.

If someone came up with a simple IM like interface which you could use, to chat without having the full blown SL client that would rawk!

NOTE: After a talk with people in #secondlife on efnet, it would probably degrade the quality of the game if everyone was just idling in-game… ok, so maybe it wasn’t that good an idea afterall
