  My condolences, brother… last had to do this after having to switch from leased line to ADSL when the provider f…ed it all up and I had to be on dial-up for SIX MONTHS, and we were 3 people sharing 64k of bandwidth…. I never want to have to do that again…

  My condolances, also. I am on 11 Mbps packet radio, but it usually feels like dialup.

  Is your server on dialup? Or did you write some sleep() calls into the page? Feels like it ….

  Let’s face it. Anything short of an OC 48 hooked directly to your personal workstation is *too slow* these days…
