Finding our groove
Thursday, May 3rd, 2007
It’s been a crazy month, and like all crazy months it’s easy to lose your groove. Especially when you’ve moved continents. Especially when you’ve moved from working at home, to working at a job a real job (”real” defined as a job where you’re required to come to work everyday and dress in more than […]

Scott Sigler’s Ancestor breaks the Amazon top 100 on first day
Sunday, April 1st, 2007
It’s time to bumrush Amazon, and push Ancestor to the #1 place! Before I bought my copy it was in the 4000s then it jumped to 1076, then 138, and is currently at 93 and fourth place in the New Releases section, and 1st place in New SciFi.
As an aspiring author, I value Scott Sigler’s […]

In defense of the Internet - Network Neutrality
Sunday, April 1st, 2007
Yesterday I read the an article on Network Neutrality on CNN.com. The article was written by Craig Newmark of Craigslist and was VERY wrong.

Must be a better way to do this
Saturday, March 17th, 2007
disclaimer: I have been up way too long!
I’m playing with my blog and put a banner on the top of my page that counts the days left to the Amazon launch of Scott Sigler’s new book Ancestor. Here’s the code that I came up with, makes me think there must be a better way.
<?php
$april1st = […]

Gearing up for the Amazon.com release of the Ancestor Novel, Scott has convinced Jian and Rhumkorrf to start blogging!
This is a part of a larger guerrilla marketing campaign which focuses on making Ancestor an Amazon.com best seller on April 1st. So if you have a minute, throw a couple links on your blog, and make […]

Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007
In the footsteps of a couple good friends I’ve decided to make the first blog entry of the new year yet another year in review round-up for the year 2006.
It’s hard to believe that we’re already done with 2006, this one went by fast. A lot happened, and due to the overflow of work, I […]

What’s Wrong with PEAR?
Friday, August 4th, 2006
Disclaimer: I didn’t attend Theo’s talk, so the only information that I got was from the blog entries and slides. I realize that this short presentation was humorous, but it still brings up some points that have been nagging at the back of my head for a while now.
The comment in question is part of […]
