If your not happy with your website ranking or the amount of visitors you get, let us know. We get businesses placed higher on search engines everyday. It’s a fact that websites get more visitors with proven search engine placement.

This email made its way through my spam filters this morning

Dear Aaron Wormus,

I wanted to inquire about any freelance contract Web programming
opportunities that may be available relating to Web databases, search engines,
membership systems, shopping cart/e-commerce and surveys etc.

A quick google turned up a couple people who had recieved the exact same email.

Just a piece of internet scum. You would need to be insane to do business with them!

It’s funny, but when you get around to counting the spam you get you realize that it’s really not that much. This month is was a total of: 1862 pieces, which is a total of 60 a day. Not too bad.

I would say 90% was caught in thunderbirds Spam filters. Once I move all my gear over to my dedicated I’ll probably set up some more intelligent mail sorting, but for now this will have to do.

OK, here’s a live one! Not only spammers, but the creators of the spamming tools which are such a pain to bloggers and the internet in general.

They aren’t that bright — the screenshot of the spamming program shows them preparing a batch of blog spam, fake email address and all… of course it looks like they are based in the Ukraine so they don’t have much to worry about.

Look through the source of the home page for the word “sex” to see how low these guys are.

I’m putting this under Village Idiots as well, since this guy claims to be a “Search Marketeer”… all X is is just another f*cking Spammer!

Evidence: 137 referrer hits from a www.x.com which doesn’t have any reference to my site.

Anyone who thinks spamming will help you with your SEO or Website marketting should know that they are hiring the worst type of person to do the job, and you’re more than likely going to piss people off and get these types of blog entries about YOUR company.

Alrighty, the spammers have gotten a category all to themselves. This is where I will blog about companies who use blog/referrer spam to try to up their PR or get incoming links!

The goal is to get the blog entries to rank higher than the company website, giving anyone who searches for the company a good idea as to the bottom-dwellers that they really are!
